Session Description
Patricia Burnett, will explore how HR professionals can elevate their role from operational support to strategic leadership. Participants will explore the competencies and communication strategies needed to influence executive decision-making. This enables stronger alignment between people strategy and business outcomes.
About the Speaker:
Patricia Burnett is a Human Resources professional of 30+ years and is driven to see organizations reach their fullest potential. Her greatest joy is working with leaders and employees to create a thriving company culture of success.
Pat is a Strategic HR Advisor, with her consulting company, where she focuses on employee development, HR excellence, and client service. Her HR career spans several industries including clients and employers such as ExxonMobil, Port Royal Resort, Del Mar College and nonprofit organizations. Pat is a certified trainer for Franklin Covey programs, ELI’s Inc. “Civil Treatment for Leaders,” and is Development Dimensions International (DDI) certified.
She served as Board President for Texas Business Women from 2014 to 2016. She currently serves on two boards for the Texas BPW Foundation and the Je’Sani Smith Foundation.
She and her husband, Julian enjoy competing in the kitchen, and she is the proud LaLa of her grandson, Jackson.
