Recruiter

General Purpose of Job:
The Recruiter is responsible for the daily recruitment needs for Driscoll Health System. Recruiter will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates for the organization. Post and maintain job openings in appropriate advertising venues, recruit, interview, and screen job applicants to fill approved, existing DHS job openings. May assist in employee relations, benefits, review exit interview trends, and other generalist duties as needed.

Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria and implement recruitment strategy.
Attends and participates in college/university career fairs recruiting sessions.
Attend and participate in associations, community and other job fairs in person or virtual.
Provide information on DHS facilities, job opportunities, benefits and city information to potential applicants.
Schedule and confirm travel arrangements for on-site interviews.
May schedule interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
Screen and refer qualified applicants to company hiring personnel for follow-up interview.
Performs reference checks and/or verification of employment when third-party vendor is not able to obtain.
Verify required licensure, certifications, education, etc. for open position.
Schedule desired applicants for drug screening, criminal background checks, etc.
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration. Create salary quote and make offer of employment.
Track recruitment expenses for projecting yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control.
Maintain and update current job postings on DHS website and other social media platforms.
Place advertisements in local and/or national sites and association journals. Tract responses to ads for determining effective and non-effective methods.
Travel is required to attend career fairs, conferences, interviews at off-site locations, etc.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred); 3+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a healthcare environment a plus.
Must have 3 years of recruitment/employment experience.
Have current knowledge of Human Resources laws and best practices.
PHR, SHRM or other HR certification preferred.
Must have a valid driver license.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Workday HRIS and Applicant Tracking System
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Human Capital Management ("HCM") Analyst
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (onsite)
General Purpose of Job:
Under the direction of the HCM Manager, the HCM Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HCM Analyst is responsible for the daily administration HRIS functions and assists manager with the hospital’s compensation program.

HCM Informatics
Provides analytical and technical support to the HCM Manager.
Facilitates reporting of HR statistics and assists with implementation and data conversion into HRIS system.
Responsible for creating and/or providing reports using the application reporting tools.
Analyzes current systems and recommends solutions to resolve problems or improve efficiency.
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Manages data integrity and develops data integrity protocols between HR, Payroll, and IT.
Provide support for HRIS including, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Responsible for Workday business processes; including HR dashboard design and user ability.
Assists with researching new HRIS technologies and keeps management informed.
Assists others within the HR department with all Microsoft Office applications as well as Workday database.
Compensation Program
Performs assignments in the administration of DHS’s compensation program.
Coordinates all Personnel Requisitions and ensures the HRIS database appropriately reflects all approved positions and FTE units.
Maintains and reconciles hospital position control report and oversees hospital position requisition process.
Assists in the development of compensation strategies.
Reviews proposed salary actions to ensure compliance with established guidelines and policies.
Provides communication and presentation support to HCM Manager and Senior Director.
Functions as liaison with payroll; including identifying and resolving payroll issues.
Responsible for compensation completing salary surveys and researching applicable surveys from new vendors.
Other Responsibilities
Assists in maintaining with personnel files to ensure compliance with Hospital standards.
Presents Policies & Procedures overview for new employee orientation. In collaboration with others, monitors & administers HR policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook.
Handles all performance evaluation functions, including entering rating information in the HRIS, calculating pay increases, sending initial due date and outstanding notifications, and answering inquiries.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred plus 3-5 years equivalent experience in Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Workday applications and report writing programs. Knowledge of Excel functions including: VLOOKUP, MATCH, IF/THEN, Conditional Formatting, Pivot tables and Add-Ins.

Employee Relations Specialist

General Purpose of Job:
Responsible for assisting with the administration and day to day functions of the hospital’s Employee/Labor Relations Program. The Employee Relations Specialist works directly under the Employee Relations Manager and will assist in investigations, employee interviews, policy interpretation, and fact gathering. Is responsible for conducting exit interviews, monitoring alert line cases, EAG questions and compiling data to determine trends and recommended actions.
