The Purple Door is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers free services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in South Texas. The mission of The Purple Door is to empower the community and those affected to transition to a safe and healthy environment.

Coastal Bend SHRM would like to help The Purple Door’s organization by providing financial assistance such as gas cards, HEB cards, and visa gift cards to the victims and survivors. This type of donation will provide these individuals with a sense of freedom and independence.  Proceeds from Professional Development Meeting Raffles go towards accomplishing this goal.

SHRM Foundation Scholarships and Awards

The SHRM Foundation supports lifelong learning for HR professionals and students through scholarship awards for college expenses, professional certifications and SHRM conference attendance.
