Date:  Thursday, August 17th

Time:  11:30a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Location:  Embassy Suites Corpus Christi

Session Description

Most supervisors or managers must address employee performance issues at one time or another. Anytime an employee violates a policy, repeatedly performs unproductive behaviors, or does something that has adverse impacts to the employer, it is important that the employer establish a record and course of action to correct the situation.  The method by which the issues are handled is a key element in ensuring employee behavior improves to increase productivity, and in ensuring that employers execute discipline in a consistent manner. This presentation will provide steps for implementing a progressive disciplinary process that will assist in remediating employee behavior, provide credibility for personnel actions, and establish protections for employee and employer rights and responsibilities.

Session Objectives

  • Identify steps for effective documentation
  • Learn how to implement a progressive disciplinary process
  • Establish an effective method for employee and employer
