Session Description:

With the ever-increasing rise of active shooter incident's throughout the United Stated, CBSHRM looks to provide information and resources to prepare for potential threats.  For the CBSHRM March 2020 Professional Development luncheon, Mr. Zamora, a 26-year LEO veteran serving in South Texas, will define the elements of an active shooter(s). The session will include interactive participation to help condition the mind and body to stress during a potentially traumatic experience  such as an active shooter in the workplace.  Mr. Zamora will provide strategies and best-practices to prevent such incidents, but he will also provide critical information on employee/employer response(s) during and after an active shooter incident. Learn what to do when emergency response personnel arrive and how post-trauma can affect the workplace.

CBSHRM hopes that your organization never has to experience an active shooter situation; however, if you do, this training could save your life as well as the lives of your employees and clients.
