About the Speaker:
Heather Loeb has spent more than two decades navigating the challenges of major depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, and a personality disorder while confronting the stigma surrounding mental health. She is an advocate for mental health awareness and has dedicated herself to breaking down barriers and normalizing conversations about depression.
Heather is a respected writer with a monthly mental health column in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times, where she shares her insights and experiences. She is also the creator of Unruly Neurons (www. unrulyneurons.com), a blog focused on destigmatizing depression and providing support to those struggling with mental health issues.
In addition to her writing endeavors, Heather serves as the Affiliate Leader of NAMI Greater Corpus Christi, actively contributing to initiatives aimed at supporting individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
Heather's personal journey with mental illness, coupled with her professional contributions, makes her a valuable voice in the mental health community.
