Amanda Benincasa Arena, CEP, MBA
Amanda Benincasa Arena is an Associate Partner and the East Coast Practice Leader with Aon Equity Services, the group within Aon Rewards Solutions that focuses on the entirety of the equity lifecycle. Her background consists of performing valuation and technical accounting for equity compensation, including complex scenarios like global equity, employee stock purchase plans, M&A transactions, bankruptcies, modifications, SEC reporting, etc. She is a frequent industry speaker, addressing topics primarily related to equity valuation and financial reporting, and has written countless articles surrounding those topics. She serves on the Board of Directors of the NASPP Boston Chapter, and is a Certified Equity Professional through Santa Clara University. Amanda is currently attending Harvard University, graduated from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA where she obtained her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics, and previously attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting with a dual minor in finance and business administration. She is pursuing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Amanda is based in Philadelphia.
Kate Hall, ASA, CEP
Kate Hall is a Director with Aon Equity Services, the equity valuation and accounting group for Aon that consults with companies on the equity lifecycle. She has over eight years of experience in assisting companies with their equity needs. Kate works directly with clients in helping with the design, valuation, accounting and ongoing administration of their equity vehicles (stock options, performance awards, ESPPs). She also has extensive experience with Monte Carlo Simulation, Modifications as well as Equity Conversions as the result of corporate transactions. She is a frequent speaker at local NASPP chapter meetings as well as local NASPP events. Kate is also the Global Leader for Aon’s PeerTracker offering which helps companies track and communicate their performance equity program. Kate graduated from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Actuarial Science with minors in mathematics and statistics. She has earned the Certified Equity Professional designation from Santa Clara University as well as her Associate from the Society of Actuaries (ASA). Currently, Kate sits on the Curriculum Committee for the CEP Institute.
